It’s true that some people get sick of being sold to. Reading a good, well-researched article or personal interest story is a wonderful way to spend a Sunday morning.
The East Anglian Daily Times is an award-winning local newspaper in the UK. This news article, which I found through word-of-mouth, interviewed in-person, and wrote at pace, made it to the front page as a light-hearted alternative to the seriousness of daily news.
I found this story through attending a local event. After interviewing the founder of Fertility Fest in South West London, I wrote this feature article for the print edition of the paper.
After finding this beautiful story on an events page, I found the correct individual to contact, gave the parents of the children release forms to sign, and wrote the article as well as filmed a short piece for the South West Londoner.
This was a standard news piece I wrote after attending the Fertility Fest and interviewing the festival-goers.
